Upcoming Hackathons and Workshops
- IAIFI Summer School
- Monday, August 4, 2025 – Friday, August 8, 2025
- Organized by the Summer School and Workshop Committee
- The Summer School will include lectures and events that illustrate interdisciplinary research at the intersection AI and Physics, and encourage diverse global networking. Hands-on code-based tutorials that build on foundational lecture materials help students put theory into practice, and a hackathon project provides an opportunity for students to collaborate and apply what they’ve learned. Registration deadline is February 7, 2025.

- AI4EIC Workshop
- Monday, October 27, 2025 – Wednesday, October 29, 2025
- Organized by the Committee
- Past iterations of this Workshop have fostered meaningful discussions on the full range of AI/ML applications for the EIC—including accelerator and detector design, theory, and analysis—resulting in published proceedings and a community paper (https://eic.ai). We will delve deeper into the active and emerging applications of AI/ML within the EIC community, with a focus on ongoing efforts related to the ePIC experiment and beyond. Proceedings will be published in the Journal of Instrumentation. The abstract submission (1 page max, figures can be included) is now open.
